Tree Damage Repair
When a tree or heavy limb lands on a house, the roofing you see is only part of the story. The impact can crack the deck, break rafters or trusses, and push damage down into ceilings and walls.
That’s why tree damage needs more than a roofer with a tarp. Once the tree is safely removed, the structure has to be checked and repaired before new roofing goes on — otherwise you’re putting a new roof on a broken frame.
We’re licensed as both a general contractor and a roofing contractor, so we handle the full repair: emergency tarping, framing and decking repair, the roof itself, and the interior damage underneath.
After impact
Stay safe first: keep everyone out of rooms under the impact, and don’t go on the roof or try to move the tree yourself.
A sag below the impact area can mean broken framing. Keep people out of that room.
From the attic, look for split wood, holes, or daylight near the impact.
A puncture lets rain straight in. It needs tarping right away.
Broken tile or torn shingles often extend well beyond where the limb hit.

Tree removal is typically handled by a tree service. Once the tree is safely off the house, we take over: tarping, structural repair, roofing, and interior repairs.
Often the damaged area can be repaired. If the impact was large or the roof was already near the end of its life, a replacement may make more sense. We’ll document it and give you the honest answer.
